Lexi Lombardi

Owner & Artistic Director

Lexi Lombardi, director of Lombardi Dance Academy, is a nationally recognized dance educator and choreographer, holding a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Ohio University. With over a decade of experience teaching various dance styles to students of all ages, Lexi has received numerous awards for her innovative choreography. Her mission is to create a nurturing environment that fosters creativity and self-expression, teaching in a loving, and safe way that encourages students to explore their limits while ensuring they feel secure and supported.

As a dedicated performer, Lexi has an impressive background in the dance community. She was captain of the New York Riptide Dance Crew and  honored as the Veteran of the Year in 2024.  She is currently proud to be a rookie cheerleader for the Philadelphia Eagles, bringing her energetic spirit onto the NFL field.

Excited to take on a new chapter as a studio owner, Lexi looks forward to inspiring her students to find their unique voice in dance while cultivating a strong sense of community!

Jacqueline Selesky

Instructor

A proud native of Long Island, Jacqueline was introduced to dance at the tender age of seven.  She became well versed in all styles including but not limited to ballet, modern, jazz, latin, and hip hop.  She graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Education.  

Jacqueline has performed elite choreographed pieces by Bill T. Jones, Martha Graham, Jose Limon, David Parsons, Larry Keigwin, and Frederick Earl Mosley.  She was the lead soloist in Martha Braham’s Daughters of the Night, performed at The Joyce Theatre, NYC and she performed in the musical Prime Time in Key West, FL.  Jacqueline spent three seasons with Asha Dance Company, is currently on her fourth season with Dance Key West, and was the lead actress in The Truth Urban Theatre Group’s production of Viva Africa in Long Island, NY.  Jacqueline appeared on Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It Netflix series as well as a dance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America, and Live with Kelly and Ryan.

Some of her commercial credits include performing with Cardi B, Demi Lovato, Rita Ora and G-Eazy.  She walked in Brooklyn Fashion Week and performed in New York Fashion Week.  Being represented by Bloc Agency, has afforded her the opportunity to be casted in commercials such as Ultimate Ear Headphones and a Nutrafol Hair commercial.

Jacqueline is grateful to be able to travel the world and share her expertise at dance competitions as an adjudicator.  She is currently a Dance Instructor, Orange School District in New Jersey.  Jacqueline’s experiences have allowed her to not only advance her skills as a dancer but also as a well-rounded performing artist and educator.

Sarah Stevens

Instructor

Sarah is a first year teacher at Lombardi Dance Academy and she could not be more excited. During the day you can find Sarah working in NYC or auditioning for Broadway shows. She recently graduated with her Masters degree in education from Florida State University. 

Sarah started dancing at the age of five and was involved in competitive dance until nineteen years old. She has been to many dance competitions and taken classes with many prestigious dance instructors. Along with dancing she’s been involved in acting and musical theatre. Her favorite styles of dance are musical theatre, jazz, and contemporary! 

When not at the dance studio you can find her spending time with family, friends, or her dog Lilo. You can also find Sarah at Broadway shows, concerts, or other fun events! Sarah is an avid lover of reading, music, amusement parks, traveling, and the ocean. She is so excited to be here and teaching for Lombardi Dance Academy and cannot wait to see what this year has in store! 

Ashly Garcia

My name is Ashly.  I was born in the Dominican Republic.  I have danced professionally for over 4 years now.  I am a biology pre-med student and hope to become a pediatric surgeon.
